no update for a long time...sorry about that. i am so very tired and not feeling too great.

i can feel my lung (and heart?) filling up again, it's getting more difficult to breathe.

my jaw issues keep me from eating (and talking/singing...gah!) at times. it's painful, embarrassing, intrusive, and irritating.

my tumor marker continues to rise...it is now 217 (up from 209 on 6/29).

i will meet with dr. mck. on monday to discuss what to do next. i will most likely have to switch drugs again.

i am also meeting with another doctor in his practice to talk about genetics. nothing that will really help me since there is no cancer in my family and you know...i've already got it, but hopefully it'll help tracy, kori, and their kids.

i will be meeting with a neurologist on 8/24 to look into my neck/jaw issues.

on a happier note, it is race weekend and my family is here! uncle charles, aunt cathy and cousin kristin all flew in yesterday.

we are getting together tonight at mom & dad's for dinner, and then again tomorrow night to celebrate ashton's 9th birthday.

we will be at the westin saturday night, and participating in the race early sunday morning. it is always a fun and inspirational day.

i am so very tired, i'm not quite sure how i will do everything but i am certainly going to try my best!
