it's not working. my throat still hurts, i still feel crappy. had a fever last night, but i wrote that off to being extremely exhausted. temperature is back down, but i'm keeping an eye on it and will be calling my doc's office first thing tomorrow morning. i can't go through another week (another week i'm supposed to be feeling good) like this.
friday after work i went to one of cathi's son's baseball game with her and then we took the kids to perkins for dinner. two hours and the worst service ever later, we went back to their place and hung out for awhile. i got home around 1:30am.
cathi's 13 year old daughter, breezi planned a surprise birthday party for her. so i spent yesterday preparing for that, and then going to their house to help bree get everything ready before cathi got back. it was SO MUCH FUN, and cathi was very happy. breezi has been planning this for a long time and it worked out perfectly. she's an amazing girl, just like her mom.
today i am doing absolutely nothing and trying to get some rest for the upcoming week. oh, and watching the big Soprano's final episode EVER tonight. wah.
update: worst finale EVER.
update #2: they have taken me off of the amoxicillin and put me on a z-pak instead. here's hoping this will work better. or i should say that it will work.
also, one of the main numbers they look at in my bloodwork (absolute neutrophils) was lower this week than it was last week. that's the first time i've ever had that happen. i'm hoping it will come back up by friday, so i can have chemo on monday. otherwise, there's no way.
