Unlike a lot of people, I have actually been enjoying the recent rain and thunderstorms KC has been experiencing.
As long as a storm isn't violent or destructive (and I have electricity and nothing in my house is leaking), I'm happy with whatever happens.
Here is how I look at it: I cannot control the weather, but I can control how I react to it. So, I consciously choose to focus on the positive aspects instead of dwelling on the negative.
I might not always like what's going on, but I don't have to make myself (and everyone around me) more miserable. I can't change the weather (or cancer), but I can make the best of it and look forward to sunnier days.
In the meantime, I say...let it rain!!!

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
Edit...7:00pm: I should have known that as soon as I wrote about loving rain and even created a whole playlist about it that it would stop raining and the sun would return.
So to all the people who have complained about the 'bad' weather this week...you're welcome!
