i've got stuff to say...just haven't had time to say it, so i'll try to summarize:

tumor marker is up to 209. for the record (and i told dr. mck. this too), i HATE tumor marker tests and i think they're stupid.

CT/PET was a mixed bag of good and bad...some things are better (liver, fluid around heart...yay), some things are stable (fluid around lung...yay), others are worse (some mumbo jumbo words that basically mean in my chest cavity/lung area...boo).

the plan: for now we're upping my dose of xeloda from 2000mg every day to alternating 2000mg with 2500mg every other day (5 pills instead of 4 every other day).

tumor maker will be repeated....sometime....can't remember the exact date. in about 4 weeks, i think. (edit: looked it up, 8/3 is the exact date.)

i see dr. mck. again on 8/10 as well as a geneticist there at kccc.

since i was diagnosed at a fairly young age (35 & 41) and there's no immediate family history they want to study me; plus it's good info for my sister and nieces...and first cousins too, come to find out.

too many people are either dying from or being diagnosed with cancer lately....ticking me off. seriously....enough already.

still...i have been keeping busy living and enjoying life as best i can.

had a good time celebrating kori's b-day saturday at gojo, and again tonight at their house. becky made an awesome b-day dinner and apple pie, and we just watched izabella be her usual cute, fiesty little self.

i am looking forward to another fun-filled girls' weekend this coming weekend with toye and steph in hermann!!!
