New/Old Aiwa Stereo

Early last week I went to a new store at 95th & Nall called Savers that took the place of my beloved Big Lots. I just went to check it out and see what they had to offer.

They mostly have clothes, so it's like a huge garage sale. But they also have a small electronics section. Didn't see anything I wanted or needed at that time, but....

I went back over the weekend and saw that they had my old Aiwa stereo...for $25!!!

I had this stereo for years and loved it, but mine bit the dust a few years ago. So imagine my level of happiness when I found it.

I wasn't sure if it would even work...but I got it home, hooked it up, and it works!!!

It didn't have a remote, but I luckily I still had the remote for the old one...and even more luckily, it worked on my new one.

I swear it was meant to be!
