Together again...still, and still c-to the-razy...after all these years!!!

Chemo #4 is over and was actually a lot of fun. I made sure that I got put in the same area (they call them 'pods'...but that sounds a little alien-ish to me) as one of my chemo buddies (Sandy) who was having her last chemo today so that we could talk and celebrate with her and her daugthers, Laura & Donna. Sandy and I were on the same 3 week schedule and have been there at the same time for our last 3 chemo sessions, but now she's leaving me. YEA, Sandy...I am SO very happy for you!!!

We were there from 11:00 til 2:00...not bad, time really does fly when you're having fun! Afterward we stopped at Mimi's for a delicious lunch and then came back to the house to relax a while before she had to head home. Kori was here mowing the lawn so we got to visit with him for a bit which was nice. Thank you for mowing (again) for me, Kori!!!

Megan and Leah (Michelle's girls) made me a beautiful 'Be Strong' poster. I tried to take a picture with my cell phone to post on here, but it just doesn't do it justice. Thank you, Megan & Leah...I absolutely LOVE it and can't wait to see you next weekend for the Race!!!!

Michelle and I always have a good time just talking, laughing, being silly, and saying weird things that no one else really gets. That's the cool thing about really good friends...you just 'get' each other and that is such a comforting thing. Thank you so much, Michelle for being here with me today and for always 'getting' me! It was so great to just be together; and even though the circumstances weren't the best, it was still a wonderful day!!!
