Here's Little Miss Hayden at her 2nd birthday party a few weeks ago. She looks amazingly similar to how her mom looked when she was a little girl. She's funny like her mom too. This kid cracks me up.
Had a relaxing, peaceful weekend. Napped a bit, just took it easy mostly. Had a bit of an 'it's Saturday night and here I am trapped at home' anxiety attack. There were things going on that I could've been and maybe normally would've been doing....bars to go to, people to see, parties to attend...you know, Saturday night stuff. Who knows if I actually would've done any of those things, but the concept that I couldn't do them was what got to me the most. That terrible, smothering feeling taps straight into the heart of my huge 'loss of freedom/independence caused by things out outside of my control' issue.
Oh, I suppose I could've taken control by being stupid and just putting on my wig and some going-out clothes instead of sporting the sweats/fuzzy head look and hanging out in my garage. But going out to a smoky bar filled with germ-infested people the day after chemo and the weekend before hell week didn't seem like the wisest choice. I got over it quickly enough and was very glad the next day that I opted to do the smart thing for my body.
Back to work today. Back to Dr. tomorrow for pre-chemo bloodwork (which, by the way, I did last week), then back for chemo Wednesday (which, by the way, I also did last week). Oh, and then back for weekly bloodwork Friday. Three times in one week...hoo boy!!!

Just wanted to stop by and let you know I was thinking of you today. I hope your chemo "rerun" went smoothly.

Deb,
I read on your site about your crazy busy week (I can't figure out how to comment there, so that's why I always do it here)...Happy Friday to you!!!
Sorry to hear about your lymphedema, but very glad to hear about the lump being nothing. Sometimes it seems like it's always something for us to worry about/deal with.
Hope you had a fun girl's night with your mom, aunt, and daughters and that you have a great b-day celebration Sat. nite for Katie!!!
You're done with one more week of rads...woohooo!!!!!!!
Hugs,
Kelly
