my garage door FINALLY got installed today. you don't realize how much you use something until you can't use it...and then eventually get to use it again.

this new one has an outdoor touchpad, brighter light, and the option to just use the light w/o the opener. and best of all...it works!

i am excited about two upcoming concerts:

the police - 5/13
tom petty - 7/22

i am hoping to feel well enough and be able to afford to go to both. tom petty was my first ever concert back in '82 or '83.

along with those two, prince and u2 coming to kc and being able to go would ba-low what's left of my mind.

tomorrow is my bone scan. this is the test where you go in twice in one day: once to get the dye injected, then again 3 hours later for the scan.

consequently, tomorrow is supposed to be the coldest day of the week. maybe the sun will be shining, that always helps...and no rain/snow. just bitter cold.

i am doing well, mostly just tired right now. last week was a busy one with my bosses 25th anniversary celebration to plan and pull off on friday.

this week it's all of my tests, and trying to get some work done in between all the time off i need for those.

i am forcing myself to get to bed earlier this week. i was up too late too many nights in a row last week. i tend to push myself too hard on my good days.

it's time to get back on track, start remembering to take better care of myself, and not let this disease and its treatment completely define and consume me.
