wildflowers

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
Sail away, kill off the hours
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, find you a lover
Go away somewhere all bright and new
I have seen no other
Who compares with you

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
You belong with your love on your arm
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, go find a lover
Run away, let your heart be your guide
You deserve the deepest of cover
You belong in that home by and by

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong somewhere close to me
Far away from your trouble and worry
You belong somewhere you feel free
You belong somewhere you feel free

that song was first introduced to me by my brother. it seems fitting now in the loss of our grandmother. i think she would like it.

i am in the midst of my usual chemo crash with a little extra misery thrown in for good measure.

nothing too serious, just some chest congestion. unfortunately, something that simple could be dangerous right now, and could land me in the hospital.

they had me come into the office, checked me out, and did an x-ray yesterday to make sure it's not pneumonia. i've also been monitoring my temperature.

i stayed home from work yesterday and again today...just taking mucinex, hot showers and trying to sleep. hopefully things will be back on track by monday.

happy weekend everyone!!!

Please know that you and your whole family are in my prayers during this hard time. I hope in time the obviously fond memories you have of your beautiful grandmother will help to ease the pain.

Sorry you got a case of the crud on top of the chemo yuck. My cure is a corny buddy, a small hot toddy (cup of hot water, BIG spoon of honey, ¼ of a lemon and a splash of whiskey) and a good nap.

Hope you are feeling better soon.
