I love St. Patrick's Day!
Typically I go to the KC St. Pat's Day parade with Toye & Stephanie (3/17 is her birthday!), and some of Stephanie's friends. It's been our tradition for many years.
But this year St. Pat's falls on Saturday (therefore it will be too crowded), and also Steph will be out of town. So no parade for us this year. A large part of the fun of going to the parade during the work week is knowing that we should be at work, but instead we're drinking bloody marys, green shots, and beer all day. So when it happens to fall on a Saturday, it's not nearly as much fun cuz everybody and their brother (and sister, and cousins, and extended family) will be there.
In lieu of our tradition, we are planning on getting together next week one night after work to celebrate Steph's b-day. There won't be a parade, but I still can't wait!
I am feeling better each day. Sleep isn't good, but what else is new? Benadryl is my friend, we're like}{this.
