Chemo went well today. Went in at 8:00 (never again!), and was out by noon. It was good to get out early and still have most of the day left. I ran a few errands, grabbed lunch with Cathi, and will be taking a nap shortly.
Dad and I talked to an older man (Charlie) who was there for his first chemo. I seem to attract the first-timers, and I don't mind that one bit especially if I can ease their worries even just a little. The first chemo is the absolute scariest part, in addition to waiting for test results. Anyway, he was a neat guy and it was fun talking to him. I'll probably be seeing him in the coming weeks since he is scheduled for Mondays as well.
My weekend was amazing and so much fun from start to finish. Cathi and I did some shopping after work on Friday, from there I headed to Brad and Vinda's to sit on their deck and get caught up with them as well as take in the stars and the moon rising semi-full and orange. They fed me as I was famished by the time I got there...thanks guys, it SOOO good to see you!
Saturday I went to lunch with Kori, Becky & Izabella which was also great fun. As you can see from the picture I posted last week, she is getting so big! She is walking all over the place and jabbering away in that cute little baby language...so adorable.
Saturday night I went to a Cinco de Mayo/De la Hoya vs. Mayweather party at Cathi's which was a blast even though Oscar lost. I am fully convinced that it was all staged, that there will be a re-match, and that Oscar will win this time. Mark my words! There's a ton of money to be made from this stuff even if you lose.
It felt really good to be well enough to do all of this.
Sunday was spent sleeping, doing laundry, and running errands in preparation for today/this week.
It's back to work tomorrow and just waiting for the inevitiable crash and all it brings with it so I can move on to better days in the coming weeks.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend
and has a great week!

Yeah we watched the fight too, in Excelsior Springs and I wasn't too happy with the out come. After few Jagger Bombs, I was feeling better about it. LOL
Sorry we missed hanging with you guys over at Cathi's, next time we are there! Glad you are feeling good and were able to get out and enjoy yourself some!

Oh yeah, I somehow quickly forgot my disappointment in the outcome as well!
