Adorable, right? Tracy and Tony are out of town right now, so I don't have any pics of the other three cuties in their costumes yet.
Part of what makes these pics even cuter (if that's even possible), is the letter that Iz included with them:
word, ok so, i hear halloween is supposed to be this real spooky and scary thing right? get all decked out in goolish costumes and polish it all off with a bunch of candy and chocolate right? yea well not me ya'll. oh no, i got to get decked out in a sheep/lamb outfit thing, cause nothing says spooky like a 22month old lamb coming at ya. oh there was candy all right. and i saw a lot of it...saw it being eaten by my daddy that is. me on the other hand i got things like raisins and pretzels and yada and was asked on numerous occasions, 'what are you, a cow? oh what a cute rabbit'. anyhoo, i guess my parentals thought i looked good cause they took like a billion pics of me and kept trying to get me to pose and stand still and stop taking my hood thing off. so these are what my dad and i thought were the best pics to represent my spooky, goolish self. hope u enjoy and hope u had a great ween. late, the izinatorSee, I'm not the only one in the family that rebels against using caps sometimes. And she's pretty articulate for a 22 month old.
Health Stuff:
- I am feeling okay, not great. Been having some stomach issues since last Friday, so that's another weekend down the drain (no pun intended).
- My counts were lower yesterday than they were last Monday, but they typically rebound during the week before chemo. I go back on Friday for my pre-chemo bloodwork, so I'll find out then if they're high enough for chemo on Monday.
- My doctor allowed me to get a flu shot yesterday, so I think I'll be fine for chemo #26.
- They're having health screening and risk assessments at work tomorrow, they will test cholesterol and some other stuff I didn't pay attention to. You get $10 off of your health insurance premium every month just for doing this. $120 per year...hell yeah! That's the part that got my attention. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing what they say when I come strolling in with my bald, chemofied self. I enjoy irony, so creating and/or personifying it now and then is doubly enjoyable for me. Does that make me a mean person, I wonder. Nah, just an even more ironic one.
- I got to see Sean last week while he was in town to visit his mom. We had a great time just hanging out at his parents' house, eating all of their food. It's funny...we act like a couple of teenagers when we're there, raiding the fridge, watching cartoons*, sneaking away from the 'adults' (and his nieces and nephews) so we can talk. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time and it felt really really good. My friends are all very different, but the common denominator is that they all crack me up...and all in different ways, for different reasons. (*has anyone seen "Frisky Dingo"? It is a HI-larious (yet whacked out) show on Cartoon Network. Also funny was the fact that I kept getting the name wrong all night and calling it "Dirty Gringo" for some reason. Don't ask why, it's just how my crazy brain works...and I can't blame it on chemo, it's always been that way.)
- I will be having some work done on my house the week after Thanksgiving. I will be getting a new tub/shower, and a new countertop/backsplash in my kitchen. I always hate the mess and displaced feeling that comes with renovations, but love the end result.
- I might be making a trip with Dad to West Plains soon to see Grandma Martin. Her health hasn't been great lately and she's been asking about me, so it's time to get down there. She's 92 and still feisty, isn't that amazing?
(you can skip ahead to about -4:00 to get where the music starts)
