sick & tired

here is where i was today instead of being back at work. i tried to go to work this morning. i got up, took a shower, and then...i was totally out of energy.

i haven't been feeling well for about a week, so while i was there for my weekly bloodwork, one of the nurse practitioners took a look at me. this was an np i have never met before, i really liked her. she asked me how many treatments i have had and when i told her she was floored. she said, 'without a break?!? no wonder you're so tired!'

yeah, no wonder.

turns out i have picked up some kind of virus (which i think is what they say when they don't really know what's going on). i guess that's what i get for walking around acting like i am a normal person when i have no immune system.

i hope to go back to work tomorrow.
