Vin and I both skipped work on Monday and took a drive down K-10 to Lawrence to spend the afternoon together.

Massachusetts Street in Lawrence, KS
(obviously not taken by me either)

We headed straight for Mass. Street to browse the stores, window-shop, and then we had a fabulous lunch at Freestate Brewery. We just happened to be there on their 20th birthday.

I am pretty sure I was eating and drinking there back then too. One of my favorite shirts is from there (thanks Toye!), it says, "...because, without beer, things do not seem to go as well...".

Maybe it should say, "...because, with beer, things do not seem to matter as much..."

I LOVE Lawrence!!!

I LOVE Vinda for taking me there...
and for so many other reasons!!!

You're the strangest person I ever met, she said
& I said you too
& we decided we'd know each other a long time.

the first song reminds me of ahola...i can see her dancing to it.

i just like the second song a lot.
