Heather won free tickets from 101.1 The Fox and she is giving them to me...I cannot tell you how happy this has made me!
A little backstory: Her husband, Oscar sits next to me at work. A few weeks ago, I butted into a conversation he and another co-worker were having about The Pretenders. He said he thought they only had about 3 good songs. In reality, the radio only plays about three of their songs, but they have a lot of other good songs. So I created a playlist for him of some of their lesser-heard stuff.
It's really kind of ironic that it all fell together like it did...like Heather said, as if it was meant to be. Paul said that he was listening to 101 as she won the tickets for her friend who has cancer...yet more irony.
'Thank you' doesn't even begin to express my gratitude...drinks are on me at our upcoming happy hour!
