(click on picture of egg for the cute origin of the title of this post)After work I picked up a Hawk n' Cheese pizza from Wheat State Pizza, a pizza place in old downtown Overland Park that I have been wanting to try for a long time (it was delicious, by the way).
Imagine my surprise and delight to arrive home and find several Easter eggs hidden in front of my house!
Gone is the warm weather we had on Monday, winter is having its last hurrah (hopefully). So I quickly snapped the picture above of one of the
I opened up 7 candy-filled eggs before I found the one with a little note inside that said, "Happy Easter ♥ Jordan, Ashton & Hayden".
I immediately dialed my sister's number and Ashton picked up the phone. She was obviously expecting my call. I think she remembered where every egg was hidden and asked if i had found each one, as in "did you find the one in twisty green thing?" (that would be my garden hose). Her descriptions of the hiding places were pretty much all like that...too cute, huh?
Thank you to my own personal Easter bunnies who braved the cold weather just to make my day!
