have countertop, but no sink(you can click on the picture to see larger/clearer view,
cuz i know this is ever so captivating)
Today was a great day. I felt really good...almost like my old self. I love Thursdays!
The sun came out for the first time in I don't know how long. The sun shining on the icy trees was something to behold.
In the morning I met with Richard, the guy who is doing my countertops. I went to work for awhile, and then went to my division's holiday party.
The party was at a bowling alley across the street from our old building on Ward Parkway. This was one of our old hangouts, so for some of us old-timers, this place holds a lot of memories.
After the food and bowling, our boss told us that we didn't have to go back to work. Some people left, some of us stayed. It was so fun to just hang out with people outside the work environment, that's when you can really get to know them best.
Tomorrow Richard and I will go shopping for formica and tile. He'll install those, get my sink back in for the weekend, and hopefully finish up on Monday.
