She has the wind as a witness
She has feelings that fly by night
She believes in forgiveness
But it's not love if it holds too tight
And you can fly beside her
But you gotta go where your heart says go
She lets the bright lights guide her
Through the rain and the drivin' snow
Where it comes from she don't know
She's a child of the wild blue yonder
Flying out of here
She's a child of the wild blue yonder
Born in an angel's tear
If you see her falling
That's just a little trick she does
She makes a dive for the pain that's calling
Then heads for the clouds like a little dove
She can't help her laughing
She can't stop your crying days
Sometimes it hurts to be having
To hold onto a love that surely must fly away

- i believe i am feeling a bit better today...gradually.
- i forgot just how drippy my nose gets on this chemo.
- and also how congested my head gets.
- it's like my head is perpetually filled with what feels like these prickly ball thingys that won't ever come out willingly.

***Warning: TMI Ahead***
- but when they do finally dislodge themselves from what feels like my brain, there's usually blood involved...and what feels like some brain matter (end TMI).
- thank you, taxotere. thank you too, coumadin.
- i'm sure my new area co-workers just love me with all my sniffing, sneezing, snorting and coughing.
- that, and taking their window view, opening all the shades, turning on all the lights, playing stupid old lady music, talking about cancer (and other boring old lady stuff), getting in the way, moving things around, and generally spoiling all the fun.
- see? it's not all about snot...and unlike most people walking around sniffing, sneezing, snorting and coughing at least what i have isn't contagious.
