surgery is over and went well.we checked in at 6:30, the last clock i saw after they started the happy drugs said 8:05, next thing you know i'm in recovery and the clock says 9:something. they gave me some water and crackers, unhooked me from the needles/tubes and i was home before 10:00.
now we wait to see if the incision will heal up properly with nothing behind it pushing against the damaged skin. dr. jew came in before surgery and said she was going to do some special kind of stitching that might help. so we shall see...
no plans other than to recuperate and stay warm and cozy at home all weekend.
