red beans & rice didn't miss her

not the actual thing
i ate it too fast to photograph

i didn't feel like eating all day today. took a couple of bites here and there, but nothing really sounded or tasted good.

got home from work, still not hungry and still nothing looks or sounds good.

UNTIL I REMEMBER........

red beans and rice, along with cornbread are waiting in my freezer thanks to toye & her hubby john. i threw in a handful of frozen peas and viola...i'm eating against my will!

thank you so much...it was perfect timing, the perfect combo to satisfy my post-chemo carb and protein craving, and hit the spot perfectly!
