- there has been a lot going on, i just haven't had time to write about it.
- i had a doctor's appointment every day this past week.
- i have learned a lot and feel/hope i am heading in the right direction.
- port insertion surgery is scheduled for wed., 9/23.
- dreading it...along with more chemo.
- i have been going to my chiropractor's office for cranio-sacral therapy to help my jaw.
- i also went to a TMJ specialist who says mine is the worst case she has ever seen...yay me!
- seeing both of these docs this past week has improved my jaw a bit. i have been able to eat a bit more normally.
- spasms are still happening, but locking hasn't been as frequent.
- i have another appointment with the TMJ doc (laura bowden, dds) on 9/28...a 2 hour appoinment, so she can run more tests and hopefully figure out how to help me.
- my chiropractor (melanie smith, dc) will be working in conjunction with dr. bowden in order to best care for me.
- i am happy they want to work together...i wish i had gone to them both sooner.
- earlier i accidentally left the house without my favorite mouthguard, as it turns out i didn't need it during the 2 hours i was gone.
- i am still having shortness of breath, but nothing too bad. not enough to go have my lung drained again any time soon if i can help it.
- i have been sleeping more than normal (for me) lately, but it feels good and obviously my body needs it.
- i am feeling pretty good today...just plan on enjoying the weekend, sleeping, reading, and spending some time outside.
