Things are happening at such a rapid pace right now, I'm not sure exactly when or how much to post. Here's the latest, as of the past hour:Dr. Doane called me this afternoon...at home, at work, and on my cell. She called me herself. I called her back and got put through to her. You know it's pretty major stuff if you actually have your doctor calling to talk to you...on your cell phone, no less!
She got the results from yesterday's test and wants to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
Next up is a bone scan and more bloodwork on Thursday. Also, I will be having the chemo port put back in by Dr. Jew (my breast surgeon). It sounds like I'll be starting chemo in the next few weeks. I don't know how many treatments I'm facing yet, I'll get more info from Dr. Doane about the specifics when I see her on Friday.
Scary, scary stuff........
