Warriors in Pink

I want to acknowledge some of the positive attention that this month will bring, so throughout October I will periodically add posts like this one that will link you to different companies who are recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month and/or offering merchandise. I will also add a link over in the sidebar to the right (under 'Breast Cancer Links') to any of these companies' sites.

"Ford Division is proud to be celebrating its 12th year as a National Series Sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure. To date, Ford has dedicated more than $87 million to the Foundation in donations and in-kind gifts. This is only a small part of Ford Division's initiative in the fight against breast cancer."

I really like their artwork and the concept/symbolism of the warrior:

Semi-interesting/ironic tidbit of info: The meaning of Kelly is 'warrior'. The meaning of my last name is 'war-like'. Was I destined to be a fighter? Makes ya wonder.
