Shining Through

Freedom I've been standing still so long,
Freedom I almost forgot you had a song.
Freedom shine your light and let us begin,
Oh take me in your arms I wanna be free again.

I was at work again today, I am getting quite a bit accomplished. Gearing up for my next chemo on Monday at work and at home. I continue to feel a bit better each day. I dont feel great yet, still coughing and all that. Still tired, but what else is new?

Are you guys watching American Idol this season? I am still formulating my favorites. As far as the girls go, I am liking LaKisha, Melinda, and Sabrina the best, I think. And for the guys, I am liking AJ, Chris S., and Chris R. so far. And maybe Nick. Who do you like?

I am such an Idol addict! I get tired of the "bad" singing they make such a big deal about in the early rounds, but I love it when the singers are good. I still don't have a favorite...I'll have to hear them a few more times.

Glad you are feeling better.

Same here, Deb. I usually don't even watch it this early on. Typically I like to wait until they get down to the top 12, and even the top 8 some years. But I've had a little more time on my hands lately and I've been watching more TV than normal.

Let me know when you start having some faves!

Hugs Back,
Kel

Would you believe Uncle Charles and I watch American Idol? It always reminds me of the first time it was on when we were at Ebb Tide that first year. I still don't have a favorite but several of the girls are very good. We're like you, it's more enjoyable when they get down to the 12 and then you can form favorites better. So glad you're feeling better. It make such a difference in our attitudes, gives us hope that there are good days ahead. Love you.

Aunt Cathy,

That's exactly what it reminds me of as well! All of us sitting in that room with the slanted floor. So many good memories.

And just think, we were all together at this time last year. For a sad reason, but it was so nice to all be together again.

I'm glad your recent illness was short-lived and that you're feeling better.

I'm feeling a little better each day, so I'm feeling a bit more hopeful as this week progresses.

Love Always,
Kelly
