Doubly Blessed

I was so tired and cranky today. I am getting so sick of being sick and feeling different and getting 'those' looks from people. I just want to be normal and blend in again, and have fun and be free again. Typically I am a pretty positive person, I mostly just get this way when I am tired. Also, I heard today that a friend's mother will soon lose her valiant battle with cancer, I am getting so sick of this disease and the devastation it leaves in its wake.

So, I came home in that lovely state of mind with all of these negative thoughts surrounding me, and lo and behold I have two different packages waiting for me!!!!!!

One was this beautiful jewel-tone green shawl from my online BC friend Deb from Alaska:

The other was this Crabtree & Evelyn pampering kit from my book club friend Diane's Mom (these lotions smell so good!):

The timing couldn't have been more perfect, your thoughtfulness cheered me right up and just like that, my bad day became a wonderful, warm, sweet night.

You both referenced the color green, and as Deb said: "Symbolically, green stands for Mother Earth, healing, hope, clarity, renewal, health, abundance, growth, and life!" I have been enveloped in those things since I got home, and I smell good too!

Thank you both for what you did for me. I feel the hugs and I am hugging you back.
