a few bullets to catch you up first:

• chemo went well yesterday. i saw stacey and her mom in the lobby, it was good to see them and chat for a bit.
  

• when i got to the chemo room, i got to sit next to another 40something girl undergoing chemo and her 81 year old mother-in-law...both very interesting and fun ladies.
  

• we younger ones tend to gravitate toward each other. it's not hard for us to spot each other since we sort of stand out in the room full of people our parents' and grandparents' age. we tend to talk and laugh more, sort of like we're at a party. they mostly sleep or read. we probably bug them.
  

• i got in my car this morning, turned on the ignition, and...nothing. it's dead. i finally got it to start, but it kept happening throughout the day (i kept checking). so after work i took it to the nearest wal-mart and was lucky enough to find out that i just needed a new battery. i left there at 7:45pm only $67 poorer. it was a long day, but at least it was payday. i hope that fixed it...guess i'll find out in the morning.

• ya know, it's always something...either with your home, your car, or your body...and if you have kids, i'm sure they're added into that mix too.

• that's all i got, folks...except of course for some lyrics. i heard this song driving home from chemo yesterday. i can't find the version i heard to post here, but you can check out sista monica parker for yourself. click on 'sista monica radio' over on the left, and play song #2. it's worth it, believe me...this is the best version of this song i've ever heard.
