I went to Kori & Becky's for 4th of July. There would be pictures of Izabella in her cute little red, white and blue striped sundress playing with a blue star balloon (guess who took that), or carrying around star-shaped crackers (and those), IF I had remembered to take my camera with me. You'll have to use your imagination, but that might not quite capture the cuteness of her and my two oldest nieces who pleasantly surprised us all by showing up in time for the fireworks show.
It was back to work Thursday and again today. Trying to get everything in order at work and at home before next week.
Today I had my pre-chemo lab work, and annual mammogram.
No CT until August. I somehow got off schedule between December and January. So in order to get back on the every third cycle pattern (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, etc.) that is required for the study I am on, I won't have another CT until after my 21st treatment which will be on July 30th. Therefore, my next CT will be sometime the week of August 13th.
My mammogram came back 'normal', so hopefully I'm done with that for another year.
My counts are all in 'normal' range which means I'm all set for chemo #20.
Now I am ready for the weekend...and no doctors until Monday!
And we get higher every day
And we dream to be somebody else
And every night we pray that we will
Stand atop Mount Normal
Proudly survey the land and sea
And have happy endings if we grasp
And cling to normalcy.

Hi Kelly...have a good weekend...gonna be HOT. Marilu
It was pretty steamy out there when I was out for my appointments this afternoon. I do love summer, but this heat is a little out of control.
Hope you have a great weekend too!
Stay cool,
