Coming Into the Light

Well, obviously the higher-ups at my company either, 1) don't take hints very well, or 2) don't read my blog (both, most likely). The building stayed open ALL day and I was in it. It wasn't a bad day though, so many people were gone it was very quiet which allowed those of us who were there to get a lot done with very few interruptions.

Mom was shopping in the area, so I called and made her take me to lunch. Ask her, she'll tell you that's pretty much how it went. Thanks for the Einstein Bros., Mom!

Beginning to feel and sleep better. I seem to be emerging from the dark tunnel of the dreaded first week and entering into the next phase where I come back into the light until the next treatment on 7/14. I still don't feel like 'normal', I still feel sick...but it's nothing like that first week after each chemo.

Tomorrow I am going to Kori & Becky's to watch the Raymore fireworks and hang out with the family...I can't wait to see everyone!!!

Bald is sexy baby. I have a friend who may or may not need chemo, and she's very scared, so I've pledged to shave my head if she loses her hair. There is nothing hotter than a healthy mind and body... screw yer hair LOL. Hope your scalp and throat feel better. You are a great positive role model! :)
