I actually love summer, but not this crazy heat!Nothing much new to report today. Just stayed out of the heat some more. I made tabouli...good hot weather food. I got some bing cherries on sale last night. They always remind me of Grandma & Grandpa Kori. We never had them at our house when we were growing up (too expensive), but they always had them, and Breyer's ice cream too (also too expensive). So, I've got the cherries and Breyer's. Not having kids does have its advantages...such as spoiling yourself with little luxuries like your grandparents did.
I'm feeling all better now from the tests last week. It was a good, relaxing weekend. Now I'm ready for the coming week of trying to get everything cleared up at work in preparation for chemo on Friday and the ensuing week of yuckiness. I go for my bloodwork on Thursday this week, and will see Dr. Doane while I'm there.
