Not Kansas City Fireworks
It's been a goofed up week having Tuesday off, every day has felt like a day it's not. Today feels like another Monday...but it's a short week, so it's all good!
Our family get-together at Kori & Becky's last night for 4th of July was a great time as usual. It was our family and several of Kori & Becky's friends and their families. I got to have good conversations with Jordan & Ashton, they are both so fun to talk to. Izabella was just precious, and Hayden was hilarious to watch.
Like me, Kori (and Tracy too) has friends that he's known since grade school. So it's always good to see these guys that I've known since they were kids. After I graduated from college and moved to KC, I think most of them crashed on my couch at one point. Now they're all grown up and most of them have wives and kids, so it's cool to see them as husbands and dads. Thank you, Kori & Becky for a fun party!!!
Chris came over yesterday to look at the mower, he says it should be a fairly easy fix (hopefully). He brought his adorable 3 year old daughter, Grace with him...she and I had a nice visit. Grace brought me a yummy cupcake, and Jane sent a delicious casserole. Thank you, Chris, Jane & Grace!!!
My scalp's feeling much better, so I wore my wig to work today and it felt pretty good. I'm going to see Linda tomorrow to have it trimmed up a bit.
I'm continuing to sleep and feel better each day. I get my bloodwork done again this Friday, so I'm expecting my counts to be climbing back up.
Little known fact about Kelly for today: I'm addicted to 'So You Think You Can Dance' (I only bring this up because I'm watching it as I type).
