Night Shopping

Way too hot out to do much today, therefore I didn't do much. Paid bills, cleaned house, saw Mom & Dad for a few minutes, napped, grocery shopped.

The lovely CT scan side effects lingered throughout the day/night, so that kept me from doing too much. And on my 'good' weekend too, dang it!

I did go to see Vinda's son, Brady play baseball for a bit. Luckily the stands were shaded, there was a breeze, and they only let the kids play for a few innings when it's this hot. His team won...YEA Wildcats!!!

It was good to see Vin and Brady. He left me a sweet message on Thursday about his game, and the fact that he likes the song I mentioned in one of my earlier posts ("If You're Going Through Hell"). I told him that that's now officially 'our song'! Hmmmm.....is it wrong that that is my song with a child???

I waited until later in the evening to go to the grocery store so it would be less hot outside and less crowded inside. So, there I was at Hen House at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. The only problem with night shopping is that's when they re-stock their shelves, so you have to dodge all the boxes and grocery re-stocker people. I guess that's better than dodging all of shoppers who are usually there though, plus you get some really fresh stuff that way.

If last night felt like a Tuesday night, then tonight was Wednesday. Certainly not a typical Friday or Saturday night for me by any stretch of the imagination. Still good, just in a different/calmer way!!!
