Lucky 13

**** Happy Birthday, Kori!!! ****

Wishing my 'little' brother the happiest of days, today and every day. I love you more than words can say. Have a great time in Memphis (oops, it's actually Nashville) this weekend!

"Set the gearshift for the high gear of your soul,
You've got to run like an antelope out of control."

Happy Thursday everyone!!! I have a 12:30 appointment for my weekly bloodwork today. I will update later.

Update: Counts are all in normal range, so chemo #3 is ON for tomorrow! Tracy is my chemo date, she's going to get us Ricco's coconut chicken salads for lunch (ever notice how I always talk about food?).

Got everything accomplished at work today that I wanted to get done. My family (minus Tracy's family and plus Becky's brother, Michael) got together tonight for Kori's birthday at Mom & Dad's house, we had Jack's Stack BBQ, and of course cake and ice cream (see, more food). It was good to see everyone and to watch Izabella be her cute little self!

Kelly,

I am a neighbor of Kathy and Charles Kori in Orange Park, Florida. Kathy mentioned to me that you were going through chemo a second time. I am also repeating chemo so I can relate. I was first diagnosed in October, 2004 had a lumpectomy, chemo, and radiation then in October, 2005 my tumor markers had climbed to 85. After a biopsy they discovered the breast cancer had spread to my lymphnodes so one year and three days later I began chemo again. I am happy to report my last tests do not show any signs of the cancer. I am on a trial drug called MKC-1 and it appears to be working.

By the way, I have a son who lives in Olatha, Kansas. So when you mention some of the places you go to I am some what familar.

If you would like to e-mail me my address is mssnyder46@aol.com

I better go for now, keep up the fight and just do one day at a time.

Mary
