Girl's Night

Me, Toye, and Stephanie the night of John & Toye's wedding (12/31/03)

Yet another good day. I was very happy to be feeling well enough to have a girl's night with Toye and Steph. We went to Salty Iguana for a margarita and delicious mexican dinner, then we headed to my house to watch the finale of Will & Grace that I had taped...and of course, to talk. We three always have a great time together at our girls' nights in and out, days at the pool, St. Pat's/Steph's birthday, Royal's Home Opener, Manny's, Alamo, Figlio's, Friends' nights, etc.

Toye's middle step-daughter, Ashley made me a gorgeous card and a beautiful god's eye made with green and blue yarn and a pink breast cancer ribbon made out of pipe cleaner (I'll try to take a pic of it and post it later). Toye said that when I called her with the news of my recurrence she was very upset, and that Ashley went off on her own, made these things for me, and then brought them to Toye to give to me. Isn't that incredibly sweet? Kids are so amazing. Thank you, Ashley for my very special card & gift!!! And thank you Toye & Steph, just for being there, being you, and for another wonderful girl's night!
