Happy Father's Day!!!

Both of these pictures were taken in Grandma and Grandpa Martin's living room in West Plains. Same house, 41 years later...two first-time daddy's with their daughter. When I got the second picture from Kori & Becky, I thought it looked kind of familiar. And yes, that funky lamp is still there!

Happy Father's Day to all the other dads who might be reading this!!!

My only plan for today is to go to Mom & Dad's to celebrate this special day with Dad and the rest of the Martin/Rider family (minus Tony, who is out of town).

Update: What a wonderful day with my family!!! We had grapeleaves (dolmades), stuffed squash, salad, Syrian bread (pita), and banana splits for dessert. Jordan, Ashton & I played Memory, talked and laughed a lot. Thank you, Becky for the beautiful Faith pin and card! Thank you, Tracy for the ride and conversation! Also, thanks to Mary Catherine for our phone chat earlier!

And thank you, Dad...
for being there from day one and all of the days since.
Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

So cool! I think you should write a book, a memoir. You seem to think of everything. How do you explain the neat ideas you get for sharing your life experiences with the world? Could it be Divine intervention? Your blog entries are certainly a joy for me to read.

i sorta just ramble free flow without much thought to what i'm saying or how i'm saying it...and sometimes i'm too lazy to use caps.

divine intervention, or just my crazy mind spilling out onto the world-wide web!!! :o)

either way, i'm glad you enjoy the blog!
